Steensen Varming seek to employ enthusiastic building services graduates or students who enjoy actively  participating in projects and who are computer and CAD literate. Successful candidates  will be expected to enthusiastically take part in the design and documentation of projects within the office,  limited only by the individual's ability.

Steensen Varming provides a unique learning environment that is of benefit to both staff and clients. Senior staff are dedicated to providing in-house training which is supplemented by external and internal seminars,  courses and discussion groups. There are also regular design/project reviews at which the project design teams  present work for discussion and critical analysis.

cadetship

Steensen Varming has long been a practice which devotes a substantial amount of effort in training. Part of this effort is in offering cadetship programmes to aspiring engineers. This programme is open to university students who are entering an engineering degree course or part way through a course.
